During his tenure, he held roles as the lead for deep venous surgery and the venous thromboembolism service. In 2021, he joined the esteemed vascular surgery team at St Thomas’ Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust in London.
With a primary focus on venous disease management, Mr Khan has developed and implemented patient care pathways and treatment strategies aimed at optimising patient outcomes. He is actively involved in local, regional, and national committees advocating for patients with venous disease. His expertise extends to lecturing extensively on arterial and venous surgery topics at national and international forums.
