About
Dr Thomas graduated from the University of New South Wales with Honours in science and medicine. During his training to become a surgeon, he was involved in vascular science research, with publications produced in several international journals. He is regularly invited to speak at both local and international vascular conferences. Dr Thomas completed his vascular surgical clinical training at Royal Perth Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital. He also undertook specialised endovascular training in Germany and Italy. He is a member of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and Australia New Zealand Society for Vascular Surgery.
