Als universeller Spezialist für den Bewegungsapparat behandle ich Patienten mit

Verletzungen oder Erkrankungen von ebendiesem. Mein oberstes Ziel ist dabei,

dass sie möglichst rasch wieder zu alltäglichen und sportlichen Aktivitäten

zurückkehren können und vor allem die schmerzfreie Mobilität wiedererlangen.

Schwerpunkte: Gelenke, Gelenkknorpel, Kniegelenk, Knochenbrüche, Sportler, Wunden und Kindertraumatologie

Meine besonderen Schwerpunkte sind:

· Abklärung und Behandlung von Schädigungen der Gelenke und des Gelenkknorpels (Knorpelregeneration, Knorpelaufbau und Arthrosetherapie)

· Verletzungen und Operationen des Kniegelenkes mit dem dem Ziel der Rekonstruktion und der Erhaltes (Meniskusnaht statt Meniskusentfernung, Kreuzbanderhalt, Gelenkerhalt satt Prothese, etc.)

· Versorgung von Knochenbrüchen (anatomische Versorgung und rasche Heilung ohne Folgeschäden)

· Betreuung von Menschen in Bewegung: Patienten, die regelmäßig körperlich aktiv sind, Hobbysportler, Profisportler, Sportler mit Behinderungen; Verletzungsprophylaxe etc.

· Chirurgische Behandlung von Wunden im Team der Wundordination

· Kindertraumatologie: Behandlung von verletzten Kindern als Vater von Buben

Meine Expertise: Regenerative Medizin – „Gelenkerhalt statt Gelenkersatz"

Ein wichtiger Schwerpunkt meiner Tätigkeit liegt im Bereich der Regenerativen

Medizin. In vielen Fällen ist es möglich, statt eines Gelenkersatzes die körpereigenen Heilungs- und Regenerationsprozesse zu fördern und so Beschwerden zu lindern oder Mobilität wiederherzustellen.

Dafür biete ich ein breites Spektrum an Behandlungsmöglichkeiten an, zum Beispiel

bei: Knorpelschäden und Arthrose, Kreuzband- und Meniskusriss, Schädigungen

anderer großer Gelenke, Sehnen- und Muskelverletzungen, Überlastungssyndromen

etc.

Aufgrund meiner langjährigen Erfahrung in diesen Bereichen sowie einer großen Zahl an behandelten Patienten nehme ich deren individuelle Bedürfnisse und Anforderungen in meiner Betreuung ernst. Überdies entspricht meine Behandlung dank meiner Forschungstätigkeit und regelmäßigen Fortbildungen dem neuesten medizinischen Wissensstand.

Die Einbettung meiner Praxis in das Ordinationszentrum der Privatklinik Döbling ermöglicht eine zeitnahe Durchführung bildgebender Untersuchungen und eine rasche Abklärung.
