Univ. Prof. Dr. Axel Wanivenhaus ist Facharzt für Orthopädie und Orthopädische Chirurgie sowie Additivfacharzt für Rheumatologie. Seine Spezialisierung liegt im Bereich der Handchirurgie, insbesondere in der Behandlung von Gelenken, die durch chronische rheumatoide Arthritis geschädigt wurden. Patienten profitieren von seiner Expertise und seinem umfassenden Wissen in der konservativen und operativen Behandlung von Erkrankungen des Bewegungsapparates.

Dr. Wanivenhaus legt großen Wert auf eine individuelle und persönliche Betreuung seiner Patienten. Er nimmt sich Zeit für eine ausführliche Beratung und beantwortet alle Fragen verständlich und einfühlsam. Univ. Prof. Dr. Wanivenhaus absolvierte sein Studium in Wien und erlangte im März 1978 seinen Doktortitel. Die Anerkennung zum Facharzt für Orthopädie und Orthopädische Chirurgie folgte 1984. Für seine herausragenden wissenschaftlichen Leistungen wurde ihm 1994 der Titel eines außerordentlichen Universitätsprofessors verliehen. 1994 erlangte er das Zusatzfach für RHeumatologie und 2016 die Zulassung als Sachverständiger.
