UK-trained, he completed surgical training in England, earning a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT-UK) and advanced fellowships in the USA and Australia.

Dr. Sohrabi is highly skilled in both open and endovascular procedures and has a strong background in complex vascular interventions.

As the former Clinical Director of Vascular Surgery Services in Wales, he led a team of nine vascular consultants, establishing centralized services for a population of over 700,000. 

He was previously an Academic Clinical Lecturer in Vascular Surgery with the UK National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and was awarded the prestigious Medawar Medal (UK) in 2020 for his PhD research, which has significantly contributed to advancements in clinical practice and research in vascular surgery.
