Dr. Saurabh Chaudhri is a highly skilled Consultant specialising in Nephrology and General Medicine. He serves as the Lead for Quality Improvement in Emergency and Acute Medicine and held the position of Clinical Informatics Lead at the hospital for more than 4 years. He has now the training programme director for young clinicians at foundation year level. Additionally, he leads the Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) services and oversees the comprehensive management of a wide range of renal conditions.
Dr. Chaudhri's clinical interests include acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, metabolic work up for stone disease, diabetic nephropathy, hypertension, proteinuria, haematuria, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and renal anaemia. He also looks after a cohort of patients on haemodialysis. He is dedicated to providing high-quality care through evidence-based practices and is actively involved in advancing clinical research and education in nephrology.
