Dr Pattison qualified from Oxford University Medical School and then specialised in kidney medicine at Guy's Hospital and Stanford University Medical Center, California, before being appointed as a Consultant Nephrologist in 1996. He is a full-time NHS nephrologist of 25years standing. He has a very busy clinical practice. Research work includes being principal investigator in clinical trials studying new immunosuppressive agents used in kidney transplantation treatment.
