About

I have been a consultant nephrologist since 1993 and a consultant in Oxford and honorary Senior lecturer in the University of Oxfordsince 1995. I work as a member of the team of 12 NHS and 5 academic nephrologists and 8 transplant surgeons providing local and regional renal and transplant services. Unit looks after about 550 dialysis and 1500 transplant patients. The transplant unit transplants 250–300 kidney, pancreas and bowel patients per annum.

I personally look after patients with the full range of renal conditions including dialysis and transplants but have a particular interest in lupus, vasculitis in transplantation.

I have an interest in research and am a Principal Investigator for a range of clinical trials.

I also do medicolegal work.
