About
Mr Reilly began his medical education at Imperial College London, graduating in 1994. He then proceeded to do his surgical training in hospitals in Reading and Oxford, he graduated from this training in 1998. Further developing his skills, he undertook a fellowship at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford on shoulder and elbow surgery. Following this, he undertook a research degree into rotator cuff tears, earning him an MSc for his effort. He was appointed consultant in 2005.
Throughout his career, he has been awarded prizes for his work including the Robert Jones Prize and BOA medal during his higher surgical training on the North West Thames program. A year after he was appointed to consultant, he was appointed as the travelling Fellow for the British Elbow and Shoulder Society.
