In 2008, Mr. Nunoo-Mensah joined King’s College Hospital, where he has made significant contributions to the field. As Head of the Department of Colorectal Surgery since 2018, he leads the colorectal cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT) and oversees the anorectal physiology laboratory, driving advancements in colorectal care and patient outcomes.

Since 2021, Mr. Nunoo-Mensah has also been a key member of the Cleveland Clinic London team, where he continues to demonstrate leadership and innovation. He serves as Chairman of the Conflict-of-Interest Committee and is a member of the Medical Executive Council, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of clinical governance.

Globally, Mr. Nunoo-Mensah has played a pivotal role in advancing colorectal surgery through his presidency of the International Society of University Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ISUCRS) from 2022 to 2024, preceded by roles as Director General (2020–2022) and Secretary General (2018–2020).

A passionate advocate for education, Mr. Nunoo-Mensah is the founder and Program Director of the Dilemmas and Debates in Colorectal Surgery Conference, an esteemed forum for postgraduate education hosted at King’s College London since 2013.
