He earned his MBBCh and MD in Orthopedic Surgery from Alexandria University, Egypt, followed by a PhD in Orthopedic Surgery from Cairo University. Following this his studies led him to the UK, where he completed an MSc in Orthopedic Engineering at Cardiff University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer-Assisted Total Knee Arthroplasty. He also holds the MRCS and a Fellowship in Knee Surgery from the renowned Tarabichi Institute.
A pioneer in his field, Dr. Elfekky holds four international patents from the US, UK, and Italy for groundbreaking advancements in 3D printing and ligament-sparing knee arthroplasty. His expertise covers ligament reconstruction, ACL repair, osteotomies, robotic-assisted knee replacement, and enhanced recovery techniques.
As Director of Education at the Tarabichi Joint Care Enhanced Recovery Institute, Dr. Elfekky is dedicated to advancing orthopedic education and research. Combining world-class training, innovative technology, and compassionate care, he is recognized as one of the UAE’s leading orthopedic surgeons, committed to restoring mobility and improving patients’ quality of life.
