Prim. Dr. Maija Eltz hat an der Universität Wien studiert und das Fachdiplom für Zahn-, Mund- und Kieferheilkunde erworben. Das Institut erhielt 2012 den Status einer Krankenanstalt. Sie unterrichtete an angesehenen Stellen wie dem kieferorthopädischen Fortbildungsinstitut Dr. Wilhelm Brenner, der Berliner Charité und der Universität New York. An der New Yorker Universität war sie maßgeblich an der Entwicklung der sogenannten New Yorker Technik beteiligt, welche die Verwendung von selbstligierenden, interaktiven Brackets bezeichnet. Als Clinical Speaker bildet Dr. Eltz auch andere ÄrztInnen aus und zertifiziert diese.
