He then undertook subspecialty training including a paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus fellowship at Addenbrooke's Hospital and a medical retina fellowship at King's College Hospital.
Dr Borg has a passion for education and training, and serve as a clinical supervisor for ophthalmology trainees as well as an assessor for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He is a member of a number of professional organisations including the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
