He was commended by the London specialist trainees as 'The Trainer of the year, and 'The Trainees Educational Supervisor of the year, in Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trusts. He is also a Royal College of Surgeons College Tutor and has undertaken lecturing and examining pre and post-graduates in orthopaedic surgery. In addition he has trained and developed international medical graduates being involved in their development programmes.
Mr Jeffery qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster, Imperial College School of Medicine, London. He completed his surgical training in London and was privileged to undertake his specialist orthopaedic training at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital renowned internationally, which also included training at other London teaching hospitals. Mr Jeffery has completed two specialist fellowship posts, one in complex reconstructive surgery and in advanced arthroscopic techniques at the Epsom Shoulder Unit in Surrey and as a Trauma Fellow at The Royal London, Trauma Unit.
