Dr Datta completed his higher specialist training (CCT) through the East of England Deanery in Cambridge.
Dr Datta has been a Consultant Paediatrician at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford since 2010. Before this role, he worked as a Consultant Paediatrician at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. Dr Datta is the lead for Paediatric Gastroenterology at his trust. He also leads the Child Death Review in NHS Mid Essex. Dr Datta was Clinical Director for Children’s Services for six years and has received multiple clinical excellence awards at his trust over the years.
Dr Datta has extensive experience in General Paediatrics, Paediatric Gastroenterology, and Paediatric Allergy.
