About
Mr Forrest was selected for the higher surgical training programme for vascular surgery in 2014 and completed his vascular surgery training in the West of Scotland, becoming a consultant in 2020. He has a keen interest in teaching and is a clinical supervisor for vascular surgery trainees of all grades. He is involved in the national recruitment interview process for prospective vascular surgery trainees and examines and teaches on multiple courses related to surgical skills and critical care. His expertise in vascular surgery enables him to perform the full range of vascular surgery operations, including open varicose vein procedures as part of his day-to-day practice.
