★★★★★ ✓ Verified The first time I met Dr Christos was when he approached me in the emergency ward informing me the cause of my problem. His toning made me feel that he had everything under control, and I was then much relieved as would be in good hands. After surgery completed, as my wife told me later, Dr Christos stayed with me for quite a while until I fell asleep. Frankly speaking, I had no recall of this, not recalling when I fell asleep, what was talked about, just completely blanked out. Then he visited me everyday asking how I feel, any concerns I have, making sure recovery is on track. This sounds routine for any doctor, yet it is his manner and toning that made you feel somehow warm and safe. Every concern I have, he would clearly explain to resolve my worry, for example, my swollen and bl…

★★★★★ ✓ Verified Due to my changed health conditions, I developed bilateral inguinal hernias 6 months apart. Both hernias were operated robotically by A/prof Apostolou - the left indirect hernia in May and the right direct inguinal hernia last week.
In both occasions the robotic operations were simply brilliant with a completely problems free long term result as well as trouble free first days after the procedures. Remarkable as it was, I have not taken even a single painkiller tablet in both occasions as there was simply no pain at rest. I regard myself very lucky to be operated by A/prof Apostolou and I cannot thank him enough for his extraordinary surgical skills and for his warm, caring and encouraging personal approach. ★★★★★ ✓ Verified Great experience, if you can call a double hernia op that. Dr Christos went out of his way to thoroughly explain everything beforehand ensuring that there were no surprises anywhere along the way. I loved his style all the way through. Aftercare was excellent right up to 10 weeks post-op. And, I'm fixed! Reception staff wonderful too.
Thanks again.

★★★★★ ✓ Verified Thoroughly impressed with the care Dennis received from the time he presented at ED and the whole week he was cared for on level 9. We were thankful for Prof Apostolou and the care that he provided, especially explaining the procedure that was needed and the reassurance he provided that the procedure was successful.

★★★★★ ✓ Verified This was my first visit to a hospital in 50 years. Professor Apostolou made the experience a far less stressful one through his explanations of what was happening, his easy bedside manner and his professionalism.
He undertook a tricky biopsy of a lymphoma with care and skill, in a way that allowed me to walk out of hospital the following morning.Seen for: Laparoscopic (Key-Hole) Surgery -
