They were awarded an MD by University College Dublin for their research entitled “Clinical, Pathological, Endocrinological, Immunological and Physiological Aspects of Primary Pulmonary Hypertension”. Professor Madden also has an MSc in Clinical Applied Immunology which was awarded by Brunel University of London.
