Mr Asif Khan is a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon and his private practice is based at The Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital – The Chesterfield. His full-time NHS post is with University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust - Weston Division. His areas of specialism are Foot and Ankle surgery, Trauma Surgery and Knee Arthroplasty. His areas of interest include diabetic foot care, sports injuries, degenerative disease and deformity, arthroscopic surgery and knee replacement.

Mr Khan qualified in Medicine in 2006 from St George's University of London with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees. He completed Foundation and Core Surgical Training in South East/ East England and completed the Specialist Trauma and Orthopaedic Training rotation in Bristol including a Fellowship in Foot & Ankle, Knee arthroplasty and Trauma Surgery in North Bristol at he Avon Orthopaedic Centre / Major Trauma Centre. He has also attained an MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering from Cardiff University, Wales. In 2018 he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. Mr Khan has so far provided 15 years of uninterrupted service to the NHS.

Mr Khan is Co-Clinical Lead for the Trauma & Orthopaedic Department at Weston General Hospital.

In addition, Mr Khan trains junior surgeons and medical students and teaches on the Bristol FRCS Tr & Orth revision course.
