Dr. Anthony Keeley is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee reconstruction, trauma surgery, and deformity correction. He graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2000 and completed his Orthopaedic Surgical Fellowship Training in 2009 through the NSW Orthopaedic Training Program.
Dr. Keeley pursued further sub-specialist training in Brisbane, completing fellowships in pelvic and acetabular/hip trauma, peri-articular trauma, limb deformity surgery, and lower limb arthroplasty. He then established himself as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in Sydney, and joined the Sydney Orthopaedic Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery practice in 2011.
His expertise includes traditional hip and knee replacement surgery, as well as advanced techniques like navigated surgery and robotic-guided surgery for knee replacement. Dr. Keeley remains committed to staying current with orthopaedic advancements.
He also engages in teaching activities, instructing orthopaedic trainees, medical students, and nursing staff. Additionally, he contributes to research efforts in public and private hospital settings, furthering orthopaedic knowledge and enhancing patient outcomes.
