He was successful at achieving a national higher surgical training number at the first attempt, completing surgical rotations across the south-east of England including University Hospitals Sussex, East Surrey hospital and Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells hospitals.
Aside from his passion for surgical excellence, Ross enjoys teaching and formalised this with a Master’s degree in Medical Education from the University of South Wales achieved in 2023 with a distinction awarded. He has authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals focusing on the topics of breast cancer and cosmetic breast surgery. Furthermore, he has contributed chapters to textbooks dedicated to breast surgery.
Mr Kenny has a primary focus in advanced oncoplastic techniques regarding breast-conserving surgery. This includes the use of intercostal artery perforator flaps to replace volume within the breast, and therapeutic mammoplasty to reduce the size but maintain breast symmetry for women with breast cancer. He also specialises in implant-based reconstruction following mastectomy.
