Professor Fares Haddad is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Hip and Knee Surgery and Sports Injury. He has over three decades worth of medical experience and over 20 years of specialist experience in orthopaedic surgery.
He completed his medical degree in 1990 at University College London. He was then registered as a specialist in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery by the General Medical Council (GMC) in 1999.
He completed post-qualification training in hip and knee surgery and reconstruction at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Royal Free Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital. He also completed fellowship training in Canada and the USA.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Orthopaedics and became a EFORT, British Hip Society and ABC Travelling Fellow in 2004. In 2005 he became a Hunterian Professor.
Professor Haddad is based in London and currently practises as Divisional Clinical Director of Surgical Specialties at the University College Hospitals alongside the following private hospitals:

He is also an editorial consultant for the Sports Injury Bulletin alongside being on the editorial board for the following journals:

Professor Haddad also offers his medical expertise to elite dancers and athletes involved in boxing, rugby, martial arts, football, and athletics.
He was the musculoskeletal lead at the 2012 London Olympics Games and is the Chief Medical Officer for the NFL UK.
