Ms Petra Titlbachova is a UKCP-accredited family and systemic psychotherapist and supervisor, working with individuals, couples and families on a range of social, emotional, behavioural and learning issues.

Petra has extensive experience supporting individuals, couples and families. She has spent time working as a clinical social worker and systemic practitioner with children and adults being treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital. And since 2012, she has worked as a family and systemic psychotherapist in her private practice, The Brandon Centre and Local Authority.
Petra completed an MA in Social Work, followed by an MA in Social Research from Goldsmiths College, London. She has also achieved her diploma in Applied Systemic Theory and a Master of Science in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy from the Institute of Family Therapy. Dedicated to her professional development and providing her patients with the very best care, Petra continues to attend workshops, seminars and courses so that she can go above and beyond to support the people that she works with.
Petra specialises in work with trauma and she has attended numerous workshops and trainings on this topic. She uses EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in her therapy. EMDR is acknowledged as effective in the treatment of PTSD by the UK DOH National Insitute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) March 2005 in the Guidelinces for the Management of PTSD. Petra provides EMDR to both, adults and children.
Petra is also an active member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy and the Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice.
