Dr Okon Frankson Umoh is a highly qualified and experienced consultant psychiatrist who specialises in treating all aspects of general adult mental health, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, phobias, psychosis and bipolar disorders. He has particular training in diagnosing and managing ADHD and prides himself on taking a holistic and non-judgemental approach to every patient he sees; and he has undertaken research into attitudes surrounding mental health stigma and strategies to reduce this.
With over 14 years of experience as a consultant psychiatrist in various settings, Dr Umoh has significant expertise to share with his patients at the Anglo Europen Clinic in Southend-On-Sea. In addition, he has been involved in numerous publications and research projects often related to reducing stigma around mental illness.
Dr Umoh is also a member of the Expert Witness Institute (EWI) where he completes approximately 25 medico-legal reports per year.
