Dr Nick Richens is a Consultant General Paediatrician with subspecialty training in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. He is recognised for his expertise in paediatric vascular access and provides point-of-care ultrasound assessment as part of his practice. Dr Richens also co-founded and lectures on the British Paediatric Neurology Association’s Acute Neurology Course.
Dr Richens holds an MSc in Medical Education from Wolfson College, University of Oxford, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH) as well as a Member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM). He is an active member of several professional organisations, including the Association of Paediatric Emergency Medicine and the Paediatric Emergency Research UK Initiative.
