Nicholas Kleeman is a registered Clinical Psychology Registrar. They have a warm and approachable therapeutic style, viewing the development of a collaborative, trusting, and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship as essential to supporting each individual's healing journey.
Nicholas has a particular interest in working with individuals with ADHD, from CALD backgrounds, and those wanting to explore difficulties pertaining to life purpose and direction. Their approach is empathetic and strengths-based.
Nicholas also works for the charity Waves of Wellness, where they facilitate eight-week group surf mental health therapy programmes for adults and adolescents. They are a big believer in a holistic approach to promoting positive mental health.
Before training as a Psychologist, Nicholas worked extensively with adolescents in the schooling system, facilitating conversations with adolescents to reduce the stigma associated with mental ill health with the youth mental health organisation batyr. Additionally, they have an interest in mindfulness and have spent time on meditation retreats.
