About Dr Nicholas Crump
Dr Nicholas Crump is a highly experienced neurologist who consults with Neurology Network Melbourne in Heidelberg, Epping, and Shepparton. He is specially trained in neuroimmunology, neuromuscular disorders, and neurophysiology. Dr Crump is a thorough consultant who uses diagnostic tools such as nerve conduction studies and electrical impulse analysis to evaluate and treat his patients' conditions. Dr Crump also works as a senior neurologist at Austin Health where he leads the neurodiagnostic laboratory. Dr Crump is actively involved in research and has a particular interest in immune-mediated inflammatory conditions such as MS, myasthenia gravis, and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP). He has previously worked on clinical trials for both multiple sclerosis and CIDP and is currently exploring the role of ultrasound in the diagnosis and management of CIDP. Dr Crump is passionate about medical education and also spends time teaching nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG).
