Hakkında
Dr Laura Perju-Dumbrava is a neurologist based at Neurology Network Melbourne. She has a particular interest in movement disorders and specialises in Parkinson's disease and atypical Parkinsonian syndromes, dystonia, and tremor management.
She earned her medical degree from the Medical University of Vienna in 2009 and went on to complete a PhD from a medical university in Romania. She moved to Australia 10 years ago to undertake a fellowship in movement disorders at Monash Health and fell in love with the Australian way of life. She went on to complete two movement disorder fellowships at Monash Health, followed by further training at Barwon Health. Her advanced training was completed at Western and Barwon Health.
Dr Perju-Dumbrava also works at Calvary Health, where she specialises in neurodegenerative diseases such as Motor Neurone Disease.
She is a member of a number of organisations, including the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists, the European Academy of Neurology, and the Australia and New Zealand Headache Society. In addition to her experience and excellence in clinical practice, Dr. Perju-Dumbrava is also actively involved in research and has published a number of well-received articles.
She speaks English, French, German, and Romanian.
