Mr Ziali Sivardeen is a highly respected Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience treating a wide range of patients, from elite athletes and Premier League footballers to high-profile individuals and members of the Royal Family. During the London 2012 Olympics, he was appointed as the dedicated Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon for Olympic and Paralympic athletes, a role that earned him recognition with an invitation to Buckingham Palace.
Mr Sivardeen has a particular interest in knee injuries, including ACL ruptures, meniscal damage, and cartilage problems, many of which have involved professional footballers. His leadership roles have included serving as Surgical Lead for the Sports Injury Service at Homerton University Hospital and acting as a Regional Surgical Advisor for London at the Royal Colleges of Surgeons. He is also an FRCS Examiner and has been instrumental in delivering postgraduate medical education, including organising the pan-London Sports and Exercise Medicine teaching programme.
