Mr Ian Franklin, Consultant Venous Specialist, works solely in private practice now, working within the King Edward VII's Hospital, The Lister Hospital, and the Cadogan Clinic in London. He is a highly experienced specialist with over 23 years spent working in the NHS.
Mr Franklin established the use of minimally invasive procedures in vascular issues to the NHS while working as a consultant for over 12 years. During the current pandemic, Mr Franklin came back to work for the NHS spending a significant amount of time on the front-line caring for COVID-19 patients. He is one of a few UK surgeons to have extensive experience in treating acute COVID-19.
