Mr
Mr Eamonn Coveney
General Surgery
About
Mr Coveney graduated in Medicine from University College Dublin in 1987 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1991. He subsequently undertook a Clinical Fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in the United States, where he conducted preclinical research into immune-based therapies for metastatic breast cancer. This research formed the basis of his Master of Surgery (MCh) degree, awarded in 2002.
After returning to the UK in 1997, he completed specialist surgical training in the East Anglian region, working at Ipswich and Addenbrooke’s Hospitals. Over the past decade, Mr Coveney has also developed recognised expertise in the use of clinical hypnosis to support patients undergoing surgery and to aid the management of chronic medical conditions. His practice integrates surgical precision with patient-focused, holistic care.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
— Mr Eamonn Coveney
