In 1999, he was inducted as an Intercollegiate Fellow for General Surgery in the Royal College of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland. One of his highest honours has been receiving the international Hallet Prize from the Royal College of Surgeon of England.
The doctor has previously served in several hospitals throughout the UK, including the aforementioned Hammersmith Hospital while at Imperial College. He has also worked at Epsom and St. Helier University Hospital NHS Trust.
