About Mr Deepak Komath
Mr. Deepak Komath is a highly trained Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, where he is the clinical lead in the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics. Mr. Komath is a member of the Royal Free skin cancer multidisciplinary team board specialises in the management of all aspects of medical and surgical conditions affecting the face and neck. This includes facial injury, diseases of the mouth, salivary glands, jaw joints, and developmental anomalies. His practice covers adults and children. He sees private patients at St Johns and Elizabeth, the One Hatfield Hospital, and Harley Street Hospital. Mr. Komath is qualified in both Dentistry and Medicine and undertook his training at renowned London teaching hospitals such as Great Ormond Street Hospital for children and University College London Hospital. During his time training, Mr. Komath gained knowledge and experience in head and neck reconstruction and aesthetic facial surgery. Since completing his training and being appointed Consultant, Mr. Komath has become actively involved in the medical education of surgeons in training and is an examiner for University College London. In addition to this, he is also a keen researcher, authoring numerous peer-reviewed articles and regularly presents his research.
