Alok Misra is a consultant plastic surgeon offering private plastic and cosmetic surgery to patients in London, Surrey and surrounding Home counties.
Alok Misra undertook training at UCL Medical School thus qualified in MBBS and the Chadwick prize in preventative medicine and public health. Alok trained as a junior surgeon in Greater London and went on to complete a one-year postgraduate MSc. Alok later underwent advanced plastic surgery training for 6 years in the West Midlands, to be awarded the FRCS(Plast) exam in 2007. Further intensive fellowship training in microvascular reconstruction of the face and breast in the Far East (Taiwan) and Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit (Glasgow) combined with cosmetic surgery training completed Alok's plastic surgery training .
Alok Misra was appointed NHS consultant plastic surgeon in East Yorkshire in 2010, before returning to the South (Slough). Alok left the NHS as consultant in 2020 to concentrate on family life and his private practice (Riverside Clinics). He regualrly asseses and treats patients in all aspects of cosmetic surgery, with hand and wrist conditions, skin lesions and skin cancer and reconstructive surgery.
