Miss Atkins specialises in care related to burn injuries in both children and adults, covering all aspects of urgent care as well as managing the long term sequelae for patients who have sustained scarring as a consequence. Miss Atkins aims to optimise recovery, function and appearance after a burn injury and will help guide patients and relatives through the choices available for recovery.
In addition to her burn expertise, Miss Atkins also offers Plastic Surgery related to wounds and scars of any cause, as well as body contouring surgery including abdominoplasty, breast reduction and uplift and skin remodelling and reduction, such as after weight loss.
Miss Atkins is able to offer a in-clinic assessment, advice and treatment plans for aesthetic concerns for the face and skin; facial and skin treatments may be carried out in clinic for wrinkle relaxation, microneedling, laser therapy for either rejuvenation or optimisation of skin generally or scarring in particular, as well as filler to address loss of volume or subtle facial enhancement.
