Mr Fawole has over 16 years of experience in general surgery and has special interests in gastrointestinal surgery, laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, colorectal surgery and bariatric surgery. In his current clinical practice, he offers a wide range of procedures to treat conditions such as gallbladder disease, gallstones, hernia (including inguinal hernia), sportsman's hernia, obesity and bowel disorders
Mr Fawole specialises in gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy), hernia repair, gastric balloon, gastric banding, gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, duodenal switch weight loss surgery, bowel surgery (colectomy), colostomy and ileostomy. He also has expertise in endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Fawole has keen interest in teaching and training and serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds.
