Ms Mary Corkery is an experienced psychotherapist with a strong commitment to supporting individuals, couples, and adolescents through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. Since 2017, she has been practising as an Associate at Oakwood Psychology Services, following earlier experience working with the Counselling Team at the University of Limerick.
Mary holds an MA in Psychotherapy and Relationship Mentoring from the Technological University of the Shannon, alongside a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University in collaboration with PCI College. She has further enhanced her expertise with a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and additional training in couples counselling and trauma-informed psychotherapy.
Her work is grounded in a humanistic and integrative approach, allowing her to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs. Mary has a particular interest in neurodiversity-informed practice, recognising neurological differences as natural variations in how people think, learn, and experience the world. She works closely with individuals who are autistic or have ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, or other neurodivergent profiles.
