About Prof Prof. Dr. med. Jens Mani
Prof. Dr. med. Jens Mani wurde im fränkischen Nordosten Baden-Württembergs, in Bad Mergentheim, geboren. Sein Medizinstudium, mit dem Abschluss der Promotion, absolvierte er an der Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg. Während seiner Studienzeit nahm Prof. Dr. Mani an verschiedenen Auslandsstudienaufenthalten teil. So besuchte er u.a. die Universität in Zürich und das Baylor College of Medicine in Houston (Texas, USA). Prof. Dr. Mani absolvierte seine Ausbildung zum Facharzt für Urologie in der Schweiz und in Deutschland. Nach seiner Facharztprüfung war er über 10 Jahre als Oberarzt tätig. Seine Tätigkeitsschwerpunkte lagen im gesamten urologischen Spektrum sowie im Bereich der Nierentransplantation. Prof. Dr. Mani besitzt die Zusatzbezeichnung "Medikamentöse Tumortherapie". Prof. Dr. Mani ist Autor und Co-Autor zahlreicher wissenschaftlicher Publikationen, die in angesehenen Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht wurden. Er ist Mitglied in verschiedenen nationalen und internationalen Fachgesellschaften.
