Dr Hasan Moshtohry is a Consultant in Internal Medicine with extensive experience in acute and complex medical care across hospital and critical care settings. Based in Abu Dhabi, he has worked in a range of leading healthcare institutions in the United Arab Emirates and the wider region, with particular experience in internal medicine, intensive care and clinical governance.
Dr Moshtohry served as an Internal Medicine Consultant at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital in Abu Dhabi from 2020 to 2025. During this period, he chaired the Antimicrobial Stewardship Programme (ASP) and Morbidity and Mortality (M&M) Committees from 2021 to 2025. In 2025, he also assumed the role of Head of the Urgent Care Centre Department at the same institution. Additionally, he became a member of the Scientific Committee for Infectious Diseases at the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi in 2025.
Prior to this, he worked as an Internal Medicine Specialist at Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi from 2012 to 2019. Earlier in his career, he served as a MICU Registrar Specialist at Rashid Hospital in Dubai between 2008 and 2012 and as a MICU Specialist at Hera General Hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 2003 to 2007. He also completed a visiting residency at Zagazig University in Egypt between 1999 and 2001.
Dr Moshtohry holds Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCP Edin) and the Jordanian Board in Internal Medicine. He also obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK) and the European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC). He earned his Master’s degree in Internal Medicine and his MBBCh from Zagazig University in Egypt.
