About
Dr McGrady graduated in Medicine from Queens University Belfast in 1999 before completing training posts in Belfast and a year in A&E in Queensland, Australia. He completed GP training in 2005, becoming a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, and went on to gain an MPhil in 2006 and a teaching qualification in 2007. Since 2003, he has taught medical students at Queens University Belfast. His year in Australia in 2012, where skin cancer screening is routine, inspired his advanced training in dermoscopy and skin cancer management.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr McGrady is active on social media, running a YouTube channel with over 23,000 subscribers, where he shares medical and lifestyle advice for better skin health. Outside medicine, he is a keen triathlete and lead guitarist in a rock band.
