Dr Silvia Pierini
About
Dr Pierini received her medical degree from the University of Pisa in 1991, graduating summa cum laude. She completed her specialisation in general paediatrics at the University of Pisa in 1996, and earned a qualification as a General Practitioner from the University of Florence in 1999. She further pursued a Master in Neonatal Intensive Therapy from the University of Padua in 2004 and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2007.
Before establishing her private clinic, Dr Pierini practised extensively in Italy and, following her relocation to the UK in 2010, worked at St Thomas’ Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and other NHS trusts, eventually becoming a consultant at University of Cambridge West Suffolk Hospital in 2015. With over 30 years of experience, she combines expert clinical knowledge with a personalised approach, supporting families at every stage of a child’s development.
