Dr Pierini received her medical degree from the University of Pisa in 1991, graduating summa cum laude. She further pursued a Master in Neonatal Intensive Therapy from the University of Padua in 2004 and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2007.
Before establishing her private clinic, Dr Pierini practised extensively in Italy and, following her relocation to the UK in 2010, worked at St Thomas’ Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and other NHS trusts, eventually becoming a consultant at University of Cambridge West Suffolk Hospital in 2015.
