About Dr James Good
James Good is a consultant oncologist with a leading reputation in the treatment of colon, rectum, liver and pancreatic cancer, and in stereotactic radiotherapy for metastatic (secondary) cancer of all kinds. James believes that everyone affected by cancer should have access to compassionate, evidence-based and innovative treatment, and strives to offer this across his practices in Birmingham, Oxford and London. James trained as a scientist at Cambridge University before focussing on cancer medicine and radiotherapy at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Since moving to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham he has been principle investigator on a a number of trials of immunotherapy and of novel drug and radiotherapy combinations. James pioneered the introduction of MRI-guided radiotherapy in the UK and has developed an international profile in its use, particularly for cancer of the liver and pancreas, and for secondary tumours of all kinds. He is the Clinical Director of Stereotactic Radiotherapy at GenesisCare. Dr Good is available at HCA Harborne Hospital, Spire Little Aston Hospital, GenesisCare Oxford and GenesisCare London, and is also able to offer online consultations.
