Dr Hadjiminas qualified at the University of Athens in 1985 and completed his training in centres across the UK, including in London, Manchester, Nottingham and Leeds as well as in the United States. He was first appointed as a Consultant Surgeon in 1998 at St Mary's Hospital.
He has special interests in breast cancer surgery, breast reconstructive surgery (including partial reconstruction), surgery using oncoplastic techniques, sentinel node biopsy, breast augmentations and reductions and thyroid & parathyroid surgery.
In his current roles, he performs minimally invasive parathyroid surgery for adenoma and is trained in the use of local anaesthesia. Dr Hadjiminas also leads a rapid one-stop diagnostic service for breast conditions which is part of a multidisciplinary team that treats breast cancer.
