About
Miss Constantinou earned her medical degree from the University of Ioannina in 2003 and received a number of undergraduate prizes including Best Scientific Performance from the Histopathological Department. She went on to undertake general surgical training at Red Cross Hospital, one of Athens' busiest hospitals, before training in training in breast surgery and advanced oncoplastic breast surgery procedures at some of London's most prestigious Breast Units, including Imperial College London and the Royal Free Hospital. She also completed a fellowship in oncoplastic breast surgery at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
In 2018, Miss Constantinou achieved a PhD for her study that looked at the correlation of immunohistochemical markers with the prognosis of triple-negative breast cancer. She remains actively involved in surgical research and has written extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
