Dr Abu Abraham is a highly experienced mental health professional with over two decades of expertise in assessing and treating mental illness and psychological problems.
Dr Abraham's contributions to education and training in the NHS have been nationally recognised, and he was awarded the Trainer of the Year by the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2014. He has also led several service improvement projects and audits within the NHS, winning the Best Poster prize at the Royal College of Psychiatrist Eastern Division conference in 2013.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Abraham has supervised several programmes, including the chief resident programme and quality improvement fellows, and his supervisee won the Trainee Leader of the year award in 2015 in the Eastern Region. Dr Abraham has held diverse roles over the years, including Consultant Psychiatrist at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT), as well as various senior education and lecturer positions.
