Dr. Ahmed Galal is a highly experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon with over 15 years in the field. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh) from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in December 1997. Following his graduation, Dr. Galal completed his Neurosurgery residency at Ain Shams University Hospitals, earning his Doctorate degree in Neurosurgery in December 2006.
Dr. Galal advanced his training with two specialised fellowships in the USA. He undertook a one-year Surgical Neuro-oncology fellowship at the University of Virginia in 2007 and followed this with a two-year Neuro-endovascular fellowship at Albany Medical Center in New York from 2009 to 2011.
Upon returning to Egypt, Dr. Galal served as a faculty member at the Neurosurgery Department of Ain Shams University, Cairo. Later, he transitioned to private practice as a Neurosurgery Consultant at Dr. Erfan and Bagedo Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
