About
Professor Douek has a specialist interest in the development and evaluation of novel techniques in surgical oncology and is himself a pioneer with regards to magnetic guidance surgery, intra-operative radiotherapy and implant reconstruction for breast cancer surgery. He is The currently the Chief Investigator for several international clinical trials and maintains a very active and prominent role for research into breast cancer. He was awarded the prestigious Hunterian Professorship by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
