Mr Ramasamy completed extensive training in Ophthalmology in India, during residency at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, and at the Wirral University Hospitals NHS Trust. He also undertook intensive training in retinal surgery during a fellowship at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. He is the author of 18 peer-reviewed publications and continues to do research in the field with the aim of providing evidence-based treatment to his patients. Away from the clinic, Mr Ramasamy enjoys running, swimming and biking.
