Dr George Amin-Youssef is a Consultant Cardiologist at King's College Hospital London and Cleveland Clinic London. King's College Hospital has one of the largest Heart Failure Units in the UK. He is part of the multidisciplinary team meetings at King's College Hospital which include valve, coronary artery disease, infective endocarditis, heart failure and echocardiography.

Dr Amin-Youssef is fellowship-trained and has more than 20 years of experience in
the field. He works in both inpatient and outpatient settings and treats advanced and complex heart failure cases (systolic and diastolic), valvular heart disease, and
coronary artery disease. He is also an expert in stress echocardiography to investigate coronary artery disease and valvular disease, transoesophageal echocardiography for valvular assessment and cardiac investigations for patients with stroke.
He also has an interest in complex valve disease and coronary artery disease as
well as cardiac investigations and assessment to rule out cardiac cause in patients with cerebral stroke. In addition, he also runs a cardio-oncology clinic which is a new sub-specialty.
Dr Amin-Youssef gained his medical degree from Ain Shams University in 1985 and
earned a master's in cardiology in 1992. Since then, he joined King's College Hospital
London and received full training in all aspects of cardiology. He became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1998 and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2011.
His expertise is in the following areas:
