Dr. Williams underwent comprehensive specialist training in Cardiology at reputable institutions, including Medway, Worthing, St George’s, and St Thomas’ Hospitals. In 2018, he began his role as a Locum Consultant Cardiologist at St George’s Hospital and was appointed as a Substantive Consultant Cardiologist at both St George’s and Kingston Hospitals the following year. With a specialist interest in coronary angioplasty, including complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and chronic total occlusion PCI, Dr. Williams offers a wide range of general cardiology services. He is committed to providing holistic patient care and is actively involved in medical education. Dr. Williams contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate training and serves as the co-curricular lead at the Royal Society of Medicine for registrar training in intervention cardiology. His clinical interests extend to various aspects of cardiology, including the management of angina and breathlessness on exertion, myocardial infarctions, and patients with a family history of premature coronary artery disease. Dr. Williams also specialises in cardiac CT coronary angiography and coronary angiography, ensuring a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating heart conditions. Currently, he practices at both Kingston and Richmond Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and St George’s University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and New Victoria Hospital.
